Hi.
I am going to build a houseboat and I would like Polyethylene hulls.
The hulls need to be 14 meters long and 1 meter diameter with 1.5 meter apart bulk heads and lugs.
With a bow structure for ease of flow.
I can give you more accurate dimensions etc, however I’m trying to ascertain if my method is correct.
I will let you recommend the wall thickness.
Are you able to give me a rough price on 2 of these so I can price my project.
The base frame will be aluminium with light foam sandwich panels for walls etc.
estimate will be 6 tonne for frame plus super structure plus hardware, water tanks and engines, batteries etc.
I think 14 meters should give me 8.4 tonne of lift /1/2 submerged (less the weight of the hulls). Is that correct.
I would need to get pricing on transport to Newcastle, Australia when I know the weight.
Regards
Guy Sanderson
